چکیده

Nowadays, an important trend is the mobility for the development in global position system (GPS) which enable the users to pinpoint their position anywhere on earth. According to Neogeography (MTurner 2006), people can create their own maps and convey location information among friends and visitors. In fact, most work with geospatial data is carried out by groups (Maceachren and Brewer 2004). And geographic research, decision-making and education are, more than ever before, the products of group activities (MacEachren 2001,Technology and Council 2003). Popular concepts include collaborative GIS (Neville and Clare 1996, Shivanand Balram 2006), Multiple Criteria Decision Models (MCDM) (Malczewski 1999), Argument Map (Rinner 1999), Collaborative Mapping, Collaborative GIS Data Production (Li and Coleman 2002), collaborative spatial decision-making (CSDM) (Armstrong and Densham 1995,MacEachren 2001), geocollaboration (Maceachren and Brewer 2004) and volunteered geographic information (VGI) (Goodchild 2007). To maintain terminological consistency, we use geocollaboration in this paper. Real-time geocollaboration can be defined as a collaboration that allows geographically dispersed people to view and contribute to the shared geographical knowledge (or spatial decision) over the Internet at same time by referring to the definition of real-time collaborative systems (Greenberg, Roseman, Webster and Bohnet 1992, Greenberg, Hayne and Rada 1995, Kanawati 1997, Sun, Jia, Zhang, Yang and Chen 1998, Sun and Chen 2002, Agustina, Liu, Xia, Shen and Sun 2008,Chang and Li 2012). We are particularly interested in how to build a general framework to support geographically dispersed people work together to achieve various geocollaborative applications with real-time requirement.

A framework for implementing objects and scheduling tasks in lock-free real-time systems

We present an integrated framework for developing realtime systems in which lock-free algorithms are employed to implement shared objects. There are two key objectives of our work. The first is to enable functionality for object sharing in lock-free real-time systems that is comparable to that in lock-based systems. Our main contribution toward this objective is an efficient approach for implem...

ظرفیت شبکه های حذفی تحت کدینگ فضایی شبکه

We study the capacity of point-to-point erasure networks under a restricted form of network coding to which we refer as spatial network coding. In this form of coding, the nodes can not perform coding on successive packets which are received from one incoming link. The coding at a node is restricted to the packets received at the same time slot from different incoming links...

Real-Time intrusion detection alert correlation and attack scenario extraction based on the prerequisite consequence approach

Alert correlation systems attempt to discover the relations among alerts produced by one or more intrusion detection systems to determine the attack scenarios and their main motivations. In this paper a new IDS alert correlation method is proposed that can be used to detect attack scenarios in real-time. The proposed method is based on a causal approach due to the strength of causal methods in ...

A Region-Level Motion-Based Graph Representation and Labelling for Tracking a Spatial Image Partition

This paper addresses two image sequence analysis issues under a common framework. These tasks are, "rst, motion-based segmentation and second, updating and tracking over time of a spatial partition of an image. By spatial partition, we mean that constituent regions display an intensity, color or texture-based homogeneity criterion. Several issues in dynamic scene analysis or in image sequence c...

Evertims: Open Source Framework for Real-time Auralization in Architectural Acoustics and Virtual Reality

This paper presents recent developments of the EVERTims project, an auralization framework for virtual acoustics and real-time room acoustic simulation. The EVERTims framework relies on three independent components: a scene graph editor, a room acoustic modeler, and a spatial audio renderer for auralization. The framework was first published and detailed in [1, 2]. Recent developments presented...
